OKLAHOMA CITY, OK. — Principle Choice Home Healthcare announces plans to introduce Hospice Care, expanding its continuum of care for individuals and families throughout the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.
The hospice service will build upon existing Home Healthcare and Palliative Care programs, centering on comfort, guidance, and continuity as needs evolve. Principle Choice Home Healthcare will also adopt the name Principle Choice Home Healthcare and Hospice (PCHH), reflecting its broader scope of support. The program will honor each person’s dignity, preferences, and quality of life.
The interdisciplinary approach will address the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and families. Services will include pain and symptom management, nursing care, physician oversight, medication management, medical equipment and supplies related to the hospice diagnosis, and individualized care planning.
Social workers, chaplains, and counselors will work alongside the clinical team to offer guidance through difficult decisions and transitions. Caregiver education will help loved ones feel more confident managing care at home. Coordination among the hospice team, attending physicians, facilities, and community resources will promote continuity across settings.
Following the loss of a loved one, grief and bereavement resources will remain available, including counseling, support groups, educational materials, and follow-up outreach.
“At one of life’s most vulnerable moments, every person deserves dignity, compassion, and respect. Our Hospice Care program is dedicated to caring for the whole person while standing beside those closest to them. It is an honor to offer comfort and reassurance during this deeply personal time, so no one feels alone. Our purpose is to create meaningful moments and bring peace when it matters most,” said Annamary Soller-Johnson, President of Principle Choice Home Healthcare and Hospice.
The program will also create opportunities for hospice volunteers to offer companionship, conversation, and a reassuring presence to individuals and caregivers. Their involvement will foster connection during difficult circumstances.
Additional information about the launch timeline, availability, and volunteer opportunities will be shared as details are finalized. Principle Choice Home Healthcare & Hospice's social media is the quickest way to see updates.
